Championship wage bills out of control ?

When will the bubble burst?,normally on most businesses 25% to 30% your looking at most for the wage bill to be versus turnover, some in the championship are 100 to 120% its totally unsustainable.

How is it even plausible to pay a footballer a £1m per month or whatever some are getting.

Most clubs are now scared of ffp since Everton... even ncastle won't buy unless sell 1st..... fans need to get real and realise its not a simple case of spending 40k a week for moore and dont worry about it.

I listened to a podcast yesterday with Troy Deeney and Defoe. It's quite old I think but they were talking about fans and the stick they get.

Their come back to fans that shouted at them was always money related - as in I earn an obscene amount of cash so u can shout what the hell u want. Deeney mentioned a Cardiff fan shouting fatty so Deeney said its coz all the Lobster he eats.

I know they get a lot of abuse but it was hard to listen too coz they were so out of touch with reality. So unappreciative of the position they're in. Makes u think that a lot of these footballers really aint nice/good people. Perhaps Deeneys the wrong footballer to compare the rest too though!

Wez - some will still argue that we have a threadbare team full of freebies and the board need to push the boat out. Isn't it time to stop spending 'silly money' on the wrong players?

This years not out yet but put it in prospective the season we went up with Warnock our wage bill was double what it is now . 19 million probably is right for the whole club .Keith may be able to answer it better .

How do you kbow ? That's a genuine question I would say that list is probably right .
