I am fed up with all younger fans complaining about the current regime

When this regime took over we were minutes from administration. We had just sold all our best players to stay afloat. We were playing in a decrepit stadium.

We had spent the previous 30 years playing majorly in league 1 and 2. We had been under the control of successive owners who had no ambition and lived hand to mouth. We had no prospect of playing in the Championship let alone the Premier League.

Since Tan has taken over we have been in the Premier League twice and 2 cup finals and never lower than the Championship. We have never had any threat of Administration or points deductions because of financial mis-management.

Chase Tan and Dalman out of the club at your peril. There is no guarantee that a great benefactor will ride over the hill and more likely we will be plunged back into uncertainty and most likely lower divisions.

In my lifetime of supporting the club (since 1968), i have never known better owners. In my view the only real mistake they made was changing the colours to red which they rectified.

And if I see one more post about Tan wanting our goalie to score I will scream. That comment was made at a time (similar to now) when we barely got a shot at goal and Tan was making a point that it doesn't matter who scores but you don't score a goal unless you shoot. His comments have been taken out of context ever since. Tan is no idiot

We were also primed for the Premier. Now we are staying off relegation back to the Dungeon leagues, perhaps not this season but don't bet against it next season.

In all seriousness though the issues run deeper than that.

Its the lack of ambition shown to propel us from where we are or have been the last say 5 or 6 years, back to where we as a Capital city with one club should be.

If we look at the managerial go around since Malky left, we have had Warnock, Lamouchi and Bulut who have been somewhat decent, the rest have been pretty dire when it comes to taking the club forward.

I feel like he has lost all interest in the club, and seeing how he runs his other clubs is worrying at the same time.

Now he's found a manager he needs to hang on to him.

I am the same era as you my first game was1966, and I get a lot of what you are saying , but how do you know what Tan was meaning when he said about the goalie scoring more , this was around the same time he appointed the 23rd old painter as scout

It was a great opportunity for him, he's made so many mistakes with Manager recruitment and not appointing a football man from day one, run properly we could be a decent Premier League team!

44 I’ve going 34 years plus seen good and bad same as you darlington Scunthorpe Halifax etc Tuesday nights week in week out Ninian park 2,000 average attendance .i personaly go back ninian park and Sam Hamann any day least we had owner who cared and was with us every game and loved the club just like us Vincent tan is just like a cash cow same as that welsh minister mark prickford that’s who he reminds me of

It would help if replies are directly put in the post they're replying too to get some context ..... no idea who he's referring to (running other fans down)...

This Craigleeccfc is obviously not a Tan fan. He makes a brave statement like saying he would take dropping a few leagues if it meant it would get rid of Tan himself. I know quite a few fans back in the bad day of the Rebrand who wanted that but they did not have the bottle to say so.
