Kieffer Moore is now edging closer to the exit door at Bournemouth, we understand.
At points in this window, it appeared unlikely that Cardiff's chief striker target would be allowed to leave the south coast club before Thursday's deadline, however we are now told the Cherries' stance has softened in that regard, with Moore having made his feelings known about wanting to go out and play regularly.
It is also understood that Moore, personally, is open to moving back to Cardiff and has stressed he wants to.
A city for which he holds fond memories and in which he still has a good network of friends. It is also the club at which he enjoyed his most successful period in front of goal, netting 20 times in his last full season with the Bluebirds.
Sunderland have also lodged a loan bid for Moore, while Ipswich, another of his former clubs, are also keen. The Tractor Boys have this afternoon signed AFC Wimbledon striker Ali Al-Hamadi and are also thought to be keen on Blackburn Rovers' front man Sam Gallagher, though.
