Wouldn’t be surprised.

If we sign Ilic then would free Meite to move back to the right when he plays.

Wouldn’t say disappointing spell.

He’s one of only a few players we have that can turn a full back inside out.

Agree. He can show flashes of magic.

Would rather he stayed. I think in part his injury impacted his season as well as Bulut's insistence on prioritising defensive cover for his fullback.

He goes to Bristol and he'll improve them!

Bowler not impressed but he could come good with the new players and a striker to aim at and ramsey back so on the fence.

Agreed mate and part nulified because the manager wants him tracking back every opportunity. Caught them both
having a right few barnies last couple of games. Great player for Blackpool aswell.

He's suffered in this system. May be a good move for all parties.

Think he's been a tad lazy / off the pace the last few games. Agree with the rest of your post tho

I'm torn here. He has been one player pushing forward, happy to take people on, a bit of creativity but at the same time, he's been off the boil a lot and quite frankly average

Wouldn't be surprised, I don't think he suits the system.

I think Bulut gets the width from the wide-forward players but they have to dig out their fullback as they are defending the inside right (or left) space outside the deepest sitter. They are almost wingbacks in work load but with an attacking mindset rather than a defending.

I don't think Josh is athletic enough for the role, he is a pure attacker/ dribbler and as he is normally inverted he doesn't go around fullbacks he cuts inside so if we get Moore or the Serbian kid (hopefully both) he doesn't cross it either.

I did call it twatter  I admit wishful thinking on my part as I don't rate him. Most wingers have a trick or two but thinks most players that run at him have covid or something because he rarely gets close enough to them.Give me a Grant type player anyday works his rocks off, even Tanner puts in a better shift although his inexperience shows on times. We are also crying out for a winger that can get to the byline and not just cut inside.I believe one of the reasons he's not been as effective of late is because the opposition have worked him out.

He doesn’t suit our system ?
What system is that then ? Cos i certainly can’t work out what we are trying to achieve .
I thought a good manager gets the best out of what he has to work with .
Lot of players seem to be off the boil .
I not sure Bulut is the right man for this tbh .
Hope I am proved wrong tho .

Taxi Blue
I'd echo your views.
For me, Bulut is a bit risk averse and this is costing us points.
Surely if you possess skilful wingers, you afford them more license to get forward more, releasing the shackles.

Our wingers are not true wingers because they are instructed to cover their FB first rather than try to create chances, which is their job.
