One loan signing in to replace the 2 loan signings who have gone back. Now according to Annis we have to get rid of more to get some in. But these are not going to go. About 1 1/2 days to go. Pathetic transfer committee.Consistent lies and smoke screens as per.

Getting a bit tiresome reading these posts now - it is clear that the club are trying to bring in players that will improve the team.

Bulut is on a next to nothing budget.

Let’s just wait until 11pm on Thursday.

We all, me included, got very frustrated with the board earlier in the window.

But things appear to be moving now.

Did you ever expect anything different? - This is Cardiff City!

FFP rules mean it will never be any different now or in the future. We had our chance twice to become established in the Premiership but we wasted both opportunities because we did not invest the massive financial gains in proven Premiership quality players or management - the money was just subsumed somewhere else?. We were even given more chances to go up again (and use the benefits of learning from previous mistakes) using parachute payments but the same lack of willingness to invest, cost us those opportunities too. Embargo excepted (and whose fault was that!!?) - the "businessmen" running our club have become serial liars (to bolster season ticket renewals) with their false promises of signings and better days ahead, season upon season, but it has never materialised. Sorry - mid table nothingness is simply paying lip service to what an ambitious potentially huge football club should be about!!

I’m afraid it is NOT clear that the club are trying to get players in. Idle speculation. The fact is we have one loan in - and a defender at that when what we need is a creative midfielder and 2 forwards. We have not bought anyone for a very long time just waste money in other areas ie court cases, massive interests on loans and funding an academy producing virtually nobody and run by clowns. We have needed a centre forward for so long. These performances and lack of excitement will not encourage children to come to games and these are the future of our club.

Like I said, let’s reserve criticism/praise until 11pm tomorrow.

To be fair .
The business they have done has improved us but will it be enough for a play off push ?

Just out of interest Brezza, could you list any of the lies you claim the transfer committee have made? I have seen no evidence of any, but perhaps you would be kind enough to give examples.

I am pretty sure from your posts on here that you have little or no knowledge of how the Profitability and Sustainabilty rules apply and how they restrict our club (and most of the clubs in the Championship) .

Back in October I reported (copied and pasted on here) on a meeting held last Autumn attended by a sizeable group of fans` representatives at which the club directors made clear that their first priority was to ensure that the club remained compliant with P&S to ensure that there was minimal risk of EFL penalties like transfer embargos and/or points deductions. Within those restrictions they pledged their commitment to improve the quality of our playing squad as best they could. Fans present, including Trust, Supporters Club, DAS and travel organisers agreed with this approach.

So far in this transfer window we have brought in players of a higher standard than those that have been released ( on loan or permanently) without breaching the financial rules and at least two more quality signings are expected tomorrow before the deadline.

Fair criticism of the club is all well and good and indeed should be encouraged but unfounded or ill researched or thought through comments and claims are not helpful.

Keith, this thread alone has shown Brezza to be the unthinking/unknowing poster we (already) knew him to be...!

There are others, too...! ;)
