“ TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY TOPIC “

Wed Jan 31, 2024 6:00 pm

The transfer window will close on Thursday at 11pm. A few transfers will go through after 11pm, as long as a “deal sheet” has been submitted before the deadline.

Cardiff City are looking to bring in several new players.

Amongst those linked is Celtic midfielder David Turnbull.

Kieffer Moore is also a target, but he is also wanted by Sunderland and Ipswich. No club has reached Bournemouth’s valuation for yet.

Elsewhere, there will be the usual high amount of activity on Deadline Day.

Post all the major deals/rumours on this topic.

Blackburn midfielder Adam Wharton is set to sign for Crystal Palace for a £22m fee.

Everton and Sheffield United are interested in Leicester defender Harry Souttar.

Tottenham want to sign Chelsea midfielder Connor Gallagher but are reluctant to meet the £50m asking price.

Chelsea also want £50m for Armando Broja. Fulham are interested but can’t meet that price.

Dominic Solanke will stay at Bournemouth, despite interest from Tottenham.

Morgan Rogers is set to sign for Aston Villa from Middlesbrough for a £15m fee.

Apparently being linked with a winger from Fenerbache Lincoln Henrique not sure how reliable but if so he certainly likes to go forward and put that ball in box rather than try and run through players into the the box

This means a lot to me, as a massive F1 supporter and I think he will have shocked Mercedes massively...

But it has been on the cards for a couple of years. Lewis appreciates the Ferrari history and sees it as a career highlight to have them on his CV...

There's a lot going with this contract and the deal was apparently struck privately between Lewis and John Elkann (Chairman of Ferrari) who wants to take the Ferrari brand in a different durection; particularly in the USA...

Exciting times ahead in F1 and as big a signing as my all-time F1 hero Nigel Mansell signing from them in 1989... :ayatollah:

Allan, one or two people were praying this day ended with no additions...

Sadly, they have been disappointed, so will now have to wait until the summer to start it all up again...

Sometimes, it chokes certain posters to admit they got it wrong...! ;)

Always nice to see new players come in and we can only hope Bulut gets it right and they improve the team. Personally I would like to have seen another striker, a CM and a winger come in, but we were never going to sign 8 players in January! All I ask now is that we compete for the remainder of the season as we’ve been absolute gash for months.

Chris the players we sighned are good players in their own right and not rejects that people say?
None of the 3 players bulut was reported to want were coming to City? Moore by sound of him preferred Ipswich besides Bournemouth's input from start!.....illic we never made bid for...and bekitatas was never coming according to bulut? So club did well to sign the players we did. I do find it astonishing the lack of understanding of people on this forum as to how the January window works and the problems clubs have trying to sign players..
