When you look at the number of players who have left recently it totally highlights the extremely bad level of playing staff we, as a club, have viewed as being acceptable.

We are a club that should be aiming for promotion to the Premier League. We have a massive fan base. Loyal Supporters. Loyal Supporters who will still support the club when things go wrong. A fan base who, when we are in the Premier League, can probably fill the 38,000 seater stadium.

Yet, for years, we have accepted mediocrity and that has resulted in us being saved from relegation, these last two years, because of the financial problems of other clubs.

Erol Bulut is exactly what we need. He has a vision for what he wants and he has a vision for what is acceptable - and moreso, who is worthy of wearing the blue shirt, and who is not.

Yes, he does have some tactical issues but I like the way he wants to take our club forward.

10 players is an indication as to how deep our club has sunk.

Erol Bulut's frustrations about the club in the press seems to have given the management a good kick up the backside, No point in keeping players on wages if they arn't good enough to play. The best manager we've had since Malky and I hope the clearing of the decks wage wise means we'll see Bulut backed in the summer.

Probably the best of the 'dead wood' we had. Not terrible news. Good backup, nothing more.

Done well to get so many out of the door even if many are loans Let’s face it none of them have added much to the match day squad

I think many on here were despairing when we got to the last week of the window without signing anyone. But it just goes to show how much was going on in the background. With the new goalkeeper and midfielder to he announced today (hopefully), the spine of the team has been strengthened considerably. And who knows, there maybe more to come. Well done the board for backing the manager.

And we didn’t fill that all the time last time we were in the premier
