Watford Parking and pub advice

Thu Feb 01, 2024 12:36 pm

Hi, Watford first away day of the season. Used to go loads back in the day (never Watford) on the mad coaches, pre children !!.

Taking my two lads (10 and 13 all S/T holders in the Canton) on Saturday. They loved Carrow Road away day last year so doing Watford on Saturday. We would do every away if I could afford it!

Any experienced Watford goers advise for cheap parking , ideally it would be arrive early, grab a bite, and close to a child friendly away pub where City fans are congregating so we can tag along on the walk up to the stadium.

A separate question - can anyone provide me with links or numbers for current official and independant supporters coaches that pick up at Malpas roundabout. A bonus would be if you could highlight if they are child friendly, or a wet/disco bus! So I can choose the latter when I dont have the kids!

Thanks for any help
Steve

Last time I went to Watford, I asked a Steward manning the nearby hospital where I could park. He kindly directed me to a space in the hospital itself..... where I got a parking ticket, probabaly eagerly issued by him! :banghead: .....(So dont park there :D !
