Yes Erol Bulut gets rid off:

Thu Feb 01, 2024 6:32 pm

Vontae Daley-Campbell has today departed CCS by mutual consent.

He was on high wages and was just sitting there.

City had to give him a big pay off though.

Terrible Signing, cost is a lot of money

Good riddance to the leech.

That's a bit harsh; the guy was seriously injured for a long time and hardly given an opportunity on his return...

Agree he should move on though, and I wish him well wherever he goes... :ayatollah:

Chris,

All Summer they tried to get rid, he refused and sat their till we finally gave him a big pay off.

Bulut told him in August he should go, but he refused.

Good riddance.

Sawyers the only one left who offers nothing.

Thanks, Annis; I was aware of that and that his contract was too good to throw away...

Mugsy calling him a 'leech' was a bit harsh though; the club agreed his contract and we'll never know how good he might have been if he hadn't had that injury...

Totally agree he (and Sawyers) should go though; and I have my thoughts on Callum Robinson over the last few months...

Hopefully, we'll see his return to 'form' now he finally has competition... :ayatollah:

Not harsh at all. Guy never gave 100% to show he’s good enough to play in the first team.
Was happy to sit in the reserves, and pick up a big wage.
As far as I’m concerned, he can get fucked.

He was on £11k per week, 18 months remaining on the deal.

Never close enough to the first team, it’s well known throughout that he was happy to not play, and just pick up his wage packet.

Always looked overweight when playing for the u23’s, several managers come and gone and not a single one gave him a chance.

How is he a leech?

Ridiculous comment.
