I don’t trust one word Dalman says.
A real politician.
Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman says he has no concerns over Erol Bulut's contract situation with the club.
Following a 3-1 defeat by Plymouth Argyle in January, boss Bulut stated he would need to consider his future with the Bluebirds.
Dalman: “There is no concern at the moment with Erol.”
MEHMET DALMAN:
"Erol is relaxed about it, as are we.”
"Our dialogue continues, “there's no concern at the moment with Erol”, I trust him and I know he'll give us his best efforts."
Dalman added: "I talk to Erol almost daily, he's fine. He just gets a bit frustrated, as we all do."
The Bluebirds have won just once in six games in all competitions prior to their trip to Watford.
Dalman stated he was pleased with the club's dealings in the winter January market.
Mehmet Dalman:
"It was left late and until the very end," he said.
"We had our targets and those targets evolved over the period of 30 days, we're very happy with the players we managed to get in.”
"I accept the fact that it was all left last minute, but that's the nature of the transfer window."
Cardiff had hoped to strike a late deal with Bournemouth for Kieffer Moore only for the Wales striker to join Ipswich Town on loan.
Discussing Cardiff's efforts to sign Moore, Dalman said: "I think his club wanted him to go elsewhere and I think he had the final say.”
"We were given guidelines on what our bids should be, we put our bids in and remained hopeful right until the last minute.
"Both the club and player decided, and we need to respect that decision, life goes on."
