‘ Latest on Callum Robinson ‘

Mon Feb 05, 2024 12:47 pm

Callum Robinson is over his apparent illness and has been training on his own.

Will hopefully be with the rest of the team training this week?

A Callum Robinson fit and up for it is a massive asset

Change of system and some better players we might get to see the better side of Robinson second half of the season

Countless times we’ve said we now may see him at his best, yet we’re still waiting.

He did well last season but let’s be honest, he was just the best of a very bad bunch.

Ahead of him in that position are Ramsey and Colwill. That is completely right because they both offer far more to the team than Robinson. He’s not a striker or a winger and has never been so there is nowhere else for him to fit in the team.

His work ethic is very low. Compare that to Colwill, who has worked hard to stay in the team recently and has been doing well.

I wanted us to get rid of Robinson in January but it was very difficult because of his high wages.

He offers very little to the team and is paid way too much money.

May as well try him as the center-forward, he is bright and has good movement, and with Colwill, Turnbull or Rambo all passers, it may help him get his mojo back. Diedhiou may take a few weeks to get up to 60 mins.

SPOT ON! I have been saying the same thing for quite a while. He has some ability on the ball, but in over 55 years watching City he is one of the most frustrating players I have seen. This is because of a lack of real effort and commitment coupled with pointing and waving at others!! Contrast that with the effort put in by Grant covering for Collins against Watford. Like chalk and cheese. Hopefully someone will buy him in the summer.

He would make a cracking scarecrow with no movement apart from waving his arms about..

Think this is going to cost us a pay off AGAIN!!!
