Wed Feb 07, 2024 11:26 am

Ex Cardiff City Accademy player Rabbi Matondo who was born in Liverpool, career is finally taking off.

Went to Man City in 2016 for 3 years, but never managed to make an impact.

Then played 10 games for Stoke City.

Went to Germany ( FC Schalke ) but it was up and down for the lad.

Rabbi Matondo is now 23 years old and joined Rangers 2yrs ago had a quite start, but now managed 33 appearances for Rangers and scored last night.

Well done to the lad

Always good to see a young Welsh lad doing well.

We need some fresh players in the Welsh squad, let's hope he can push for that soon

Looked awful every time I saw him play!

Ojo-esque. No real strengths.

Thought the same when he first started for Rangers but he’s come on loads, seems to be listening to the manager and making better decisions. A few months back, before he was injured, I’d have thought him playing for Wales was daft but there’s a player in there.

That's good to hear

I'll keep an eye out when Rangers are on the box.

Good to see him doing well. He’s at a good club (Rangers over Celtic every day of the week).

Hopefully he continues to do well and wins the title.

That will also benefit Wales.

As will Tom Lawrence, if he stays fit.
