“ Team for Saturday? “

Right, the way I see it we should be going for the win against Preston after a great result at Watford.

I want to see an attacking line up. I’ll be in Cardiff nice and early for a few drinks as I’m getting an early train.

Alnwick has earned the right to start again, while McGuinness and Goutas got their clean sheet.

So I hope that Erol goes with:

Alnwick
Ng Goutas McGuinness Collins
Turnbull Siopis
Bowler Colwill Grant
Diedhiou

That sounds as good as it could get
give this striker a run out with rubin
and maybe ramsey after 60 unless rubins having a blinder leave it to whatever time 2 wingers to feed the striker
but i would like to see bowler and grant switching wings a few times to be both on the natural crossing foot
plus it keep there defenders unsettled
And the pairing in the middle should be interesting all good now we have "options"
Its been a long wait to say that.

Nice line up :thumbright:
Although I don’t get your comment on Alnwick has “earned the right to start”. He has been outstanding in most games this season. Winning MoM a few times. For me, He fully deserves to be regarded as our No1 and if Horvath is selected he needs to be showing something extremely special in training. Not like the last fiasco of being shoehorned into the team because he was a favourite of the manager.
I wish people would give Alnwick the respect he’s fully earned this season. .
Seeing Arsenal terminate Runnarson’s contract showed he was in the last chance saloon with us.
And I genuinely feel we were used to subsidise his wages for a few months by Arsenal. Before the inevitable settlement to terminate.

I like that team. Alnwick deserves to start 100% never deserved to be dropped in first place

Those whole one up top at home kills me tbh. Let's hope he sets up to attack them rather than sit off hopefully. Rather than defending for our lives after scoring a lucky goal off a set piece ect then sit back.

Yes, my team also, the key is to keep Rubins first team run going, he is growing in stature and confidence, however often runs forward and the movement and options in front of him are minimal, and so he shoots tries to dribble through or he reluctantly joins the sideways passing club we have had for years! I notice he regularly comes deep too to collect the ball from a CB, we dont need him to do that, get in and around our striker feeding off hold ups and knock downs. As I said in a previous post would love for Ramsey and Colwill to link up, 2 forward thinking players and maybe a formation tweak to accommodate both of them particularly at home. I was there at Watford and Bowler was poor before his goal, which just about keeps him his place in that team. And the next time we concede one of those far post six yard box goals. Phillips has to come in. Collins has improved recently and really neede to, but has the new boy breathing down his neck which is good.
