I wonder if there’ll be a two page topic about him this weekend

He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time - which is what you want in the striker - unfortunately that was his only strength IMO

Both his goals came from players getting to the bye-line and cutting back/crossing the ball.A trait that we don't possess seemingly.

It hasn't been just this season either, there are a few strikers who have come here & failed to score for us for this exact reason.

You’re right. Glatzel for starters.

Your right we always seem to play inverted wingers never traditional wingers

Conway was the last proper winger we’ve had who got to the byline and supplied crosses ,very under rated player

Being brutal, we've paused or undone the careers of a few strikers in the past 10 years.
It's like City have coached out the skill, confidence and goal scoring ability of a few of them.
Playing a system that suited natural wing play would obviously help to create better scoring opportunities. #strikers graveyard

Been saying for a while play bowler on his natural left
right footer on the right wing get to the byline whip crosses in
just like i was taught when playing as a left winger
supply the striker

Not rocket science is it!? But seems to be a blind spot for EB for some reason.

Doesn't do the hard running so was never going to fit but said it when he left and my opinion hasn't changed. He will score more goals than the rest of our forward line put together if he'd have played the same amount of games.
Our replacement hasn't scored a league goal in 2 years. Probably runs a bit though.
