How can he play wide on the right when he can’t ever get to the byline because he can’t cross with his right foot so he ALWAYS cuts inside. It’s so obvious and easy for defenders.
Not starting Colwill was shocking and unfair to the lad.

Same with Grant on the left, right footed and cuts in,

I noticed that Grant and Wilson-Esbrand switched sides in the second half.
Don’t know why he hasn’t done that with Bowler as well.

I cannot beleive bowler himself has not asked the manager if he can have a go on his natural left side
perhaps bowler is not that confident to take a player on around the back to get to the byline
I played left wing as a left footer back in the day and could not play on the right
i had no skill and strength as much with my right foot to take someone on down the right or to whip a accurate cross.

He is a 24 he probably has played most of his career inverted, It is his thing, he cuts in and occasionally smacks one in, same as Antony for united. It was quite cool about five years ago, but it's as tired as the 80's/90's 442 big man little man combo like Thorn and Earnie as its so defendable with only the slightest preparation. Holiett was inverted but he could also go outside and knock a cross in
He doesn't go outside as he isn't quick enough and i am struggling to remember any cross of note as he isn't a winger, he is a lower-league wide forward

I don’t think he’s got the pace to go outside a player Monty.

I think the last time we had someone who could cross a ball was Ryan Giles snd poss harry wilson

Agree but the age old problem is, they need a target in the box.

Agree with everything that's been said, bowler was poor fb was showing him inside and he took it every time. Should have at least swapped with grant and both gone outside occasionally and yet saying that they didn't get any support from ng or collins they should have been busting a gut to get outside them,if nothing else that action would have dragged a defender out.
