And another thing , the city walk

I took the lad down today , only his second ever game but he asked to leave after 70 mins so I was happy to oblige tbh ( he’s only 6 ) . He did well to last that long .

I went to show him my brick before the game on the way in and you can barely make out the names on them , covered in moss , dirt and weeds . It wouldn’t hurt the club to jet wash them once a year given the number of fans that put money into them 15 odd years ago .

It may well have been you and your son that I passed on the way in (2.20ish?) as I saw a dad and lad looking for a brick. I agree. Would take an hour tops.

Ha ha , that was likely me mate , you will have seen the sorrow in my face and not being able to make out the letters . If only the game had lifted the mood ….
