Would rather have him here now than 1 or 2 who play in his position - who we have at the moment .

When i spoke at the airport las palmas last sep we chatted for a good 5 mins he loved it here liked the fans he kept mentioning the fans when we parted he said good luck to cardiff for the season .

It’s a strange one with him.

Always got in the right attacking positions for us and score a good amount of goals, a lot of important goals as well.

Didn’t do much else but we didn’t care because he was getting the goals.


But he’s struggled for minutes and goals in Spain, which is strange.

Would have loved him to stay but the fact we couldn’t spend any fee made it a total non-starter.

He’s on a long contract in Spain (until summer 2027) but wouldn’t be against us trying to sign him in the summer if he became available. They’ve got an outside chance of qualifying for Europe so may look to offload him and sign someone better if they qualify.
