is tonight a must win ?

Tue Feb 13, 2024 1:27 pm

Is tonight a must win for bulut ? i see alot of fans now saying hes been found out hes not good enough etc. I feel tonight if we loose those voices are only going to get louder, for me the only way he keeps people on his side now is the obvious one firstly is winning but if not winning the second best thing is high press lots of attacking and trying our best to get a result.

I personally think he should get to the end of the season no matter what and then see what to do after it i must admit i do like him and i do feel hes not had the best of luck with him getting the players he wanted and sooner but i also see he plays very defensive and he keeps dropping colwill even when he has a fantastic game which i question and the two holding midfielders is a head scratcher aswell.

im hoping we get a point at worse tonight but without grant on the wing its going to be a rough one i think i hope im wrong but ill keep the faith :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Can’t put tonight as must win. West Brom are a good side.

But fans will expect a better performance.

I see it as a must win to keep any playoff hopes alive. Lose this and playoffs are almost unreachable.

But I think the bristol away and scumsea away games will go a long way to determine buluts future as fans will really be on his back if we lose both of those.

He should be given at least two or three transfer windows. How can you learn about this league and then improve this team with the budget he has immediately.

i want him to atleast have this summer to build his own team and see where we go because to be fair on him he still has mostly the same team he was given that lets face it just isnt good enough

It's a 'must see a better performance' game rather than a win.

I agree that he should be given till the end of the season but that's where it ends. If he doesn't raise the level of the team's performance by then it tells me that he's not worthy of an extended contract.

It's no good using the argument that they're not his players. If he can't get a tune out of what I consider to be a batch of players not lacking in quality, then that tells me his managerial and coaching skills are not up to much.

Not all clubs can afford the luxury of expensive purchases to bolster their teams but what some clubs lack in top quality they make up for with better tactics and fight and determination. Let's see us do the same.

Absolutely yes. It will be incredible if we do though.

I think it important that we perform at home.

This dogged run we’re on cannot last forever. Something has got to give. Either we start winning and performing or Bulut goes. It’s quite simple.

No.

An improved performance though is imperative.

I’m not happy with our style recently but our dogged run?

We won our last game before Saturday.

No, it isn't.

They are a good side, we are away from home.

Granted our football hasn't been great and tactics poor. But dismissing a manager half way through a season with no budget etc isn't going to all of a sudden have a better effect on our football.

Fans need to realise this. Not saying this directly at you btw Kyle.

ALL Games you/we should go into a "Must Not Lose Game " - If you want must not lose games this season...

If you want 2 must Win games - QPR after going to Leeds and getting a point - Which we lost .
Birmingham Home to get into the Top 6 - Which we lost and they were not in form...Just 2 examples .
