The 2nd goal they scored explains why he had it on tbh. What was he doing rushing out then diving to miss the ball for them to score. Although it don't justify how they got to that situation with the usual weak left side. Our players seem to stand ball watching rather than a runner off them and dont bother running with them half the even if they was marking rhem 1 minute before yet ball watching for other team to score. Makes my piss boil.

Initially I thought that about the second goal but if he’d stayed in his goal Weinmman would have had an open goal. I guess he gambled and it didn’t pay off.

Hardest thing for a goalie to do is try and intercept a ball while diving forward its alien to their training
Which is normally based on diving sideways and getting back up as quickly as possible ... you see this type goal very frequently and always wonder why goalie doesn't reach ball even when it appears close to them.

Apparently it was out of respect to his American teammate who’s torn his Achilles for a second time.

Disrespectful to Cardiff City in my opinion.

Don't you think his team mates knew and approved what he was doing? Football transcends rivalry on many fronts. No point in anyone making a mountain out mole hill .

From what I gather he as just come back from another serious injury that put him out for very long time and then one game back he does Achilles another possible 9mnths out!! even the fans clapped at set time to show their appreciation think it's called empathy...

Dare say hovarth did that as well... so alls well in the world and footballers shouldn't show public
