Listen, this year we have had a flicker of hope of some good saturdays returning to the CCS.
For whatever reason, manager, players, finances, owners, that flicker is now gone.
Our season is practically over . From now on the most important thing is for the Club to have a full plan for next season. Which players to keep, the management team and the budget.
As a club, especially in the recent past, we have been reactive to events. Slow to buy, slow to plan, slow to invest, slow to provide information to, what seems fans and manager alike.
It is this reason that we cannot develop as a club. A new plan every year, a new manager, new playing staff.
Please, can we be proactive next year. Start planning NOW. Give Bulut a contract and some security to allow him to do a job. He cant guarantee success, but it gives us something we havent had for about ten years, and that is stability.

For the avoidance of doubt I am not advocating that the club releases info to fans, but we need to release info to those who need it, and quickly, within the club.
It appears Bulut gave the impression of being in the dark.

They’ll do what they normally do shortly.
Make false promises of improving the team and going for the top six, just before season tickets go on sale.
They won’t deliver on the promises.
The cycle will go on and on.

I totally agree with Barclay and was going to post something similar myself.
This season is no longer important for league position. We're not going to get promoted nor are we going to get relegated. It is an improvement on last season.
What this season is good for is to trial things out in preparation for a promotion season next year.
It is true we are playing dire football but, at times, we are playing nice stuff as well - the first 30 minutes against Preston I enjoyed. So they can do it.
So if it were me I would give Bulut a 12 month contract which would be renewed if we finish in top 6 next year
Use this season for trialing things out. Use the summer to buy the remaining players we need and buy them early. For me that includes 2 decent strikers. Hit the ground running in September and be in top six all season.
That would be my plan
I personally think it is better than constantly changing managers

Nothing will change whilst Tan is pulling the strings from afar

Totally agree Barclay1 - This should be the number one priority of the new Fan Advisory Board in my opinion. They need to put the pressure on the top brass and they are in a position to do it.
We all want cheaper beer etc but lets be honest if they really want to drive change and make a difference they have to be joined up and putting the pressure on the club to be run properly rather than the club being an afterthought where dalaman just comes in as a firefighter every 3-4 months.
We need to adopt a model of contant improvement every season which requires stability from a manager perspective (I would give bulut the contract in a heatbeat - esspecially if the only other option is morrison coming back

) otherwise its another case of one step forward and two back.

Completely agree with u Barclay1. A bit of foresight and organisation. Plan ahead for the short and medium term future we.
However, I would absolutely not do it with Bulut. I've seen enough to tell me than this man cannot cope with the championship. I like him and really thought he would be the man to bring about this change but he and his backroom staff are not up to the job. Even if we gave them a budget of 10m next year we'd fall short. He cannot motivate and bring the best ouf of his players. He simply can't!!!
We need someone with championship experience, we need someone like Gary Rowett or Alex Neil. Then and only then can we plan for the future who some hope of getting it right.

Spot on Barclay we need to be patient. Why waste a year on Bulut's education, he'll know what we need for an improved challenge now
Alex Neil had a decent early promotion but achieved nowt since and Gary Rowett has spunked more money and taken more clubs backwards than Tan
