With only 5 Wins from Cardiff’s last 18 games, Bulut is under pressure to start getting results.

Bulut has now said Cardiff fans should stop dreaming of the play-offs and concentrate on staying up.

The way our club is run Ian, that’s how we have began to think for the last 4 years , just stay up and if we are midd table, brilliant.

For me that is NO ambition at all.

17 pts in 17 games (51 pts) & failure to score in 10 of last 18 is shockingly bad and the worse part is, We don’t at all look like we can improve on this record.

Dire and boring football for over 4 months.

And it’s having a big affect through our Accademy with Cheap / unskilled managers like Chesterfield and Purse running them.

The last four years we have every season just been happy to remain in the Championship.

With very few exceptions we are cursed with managers who promise a lot but deliver very little. This is usually blamed entirely on the fact that they are never given enough funds to buy success. I wonder if they say when being interviewed that they will only be successful if they have the money to spend, I doubt it!
In the majority of cases the managers we recruit are either unemployed because of previous failures or are from lower divisions where they will say anything to get a chance to manage at championship level.
I know there have been exceptions to the above but very few.
I am the only one who read that Tony Pulis was using his retirement to assist the England rugby team.
Isn't he the sort of experienced manager that could have some input on a consultancy basis?
Im sure we can all think of many more.
Just a thought from a frustrated city fan of over 70 years.

Meite not available then. Grant will be back though.

If we play the same system as Tuesday, he could play Grant through the middle with Diedhiou.

Alnwick injured so will be Horvath again in goal.

Honestly don’t think we’ll see Robinson again this season if things are to be believed. Personally don’t want him in the squad anyway.

Erol Bulut is satisfied with our play . Right there is the problem. It’s a shambles . We could have haaland up front and he wouldn’t score , the serivice to our strikers is pathetic

Callum O’Dowda and Callum Robinson have both returned to first team training.

Both are expected back at the end of the month or the first week of March.

O’Dowda has played 6 games this season out of 36 League and Cup games.
