Private messages disappeared

For some reason the ‘private messages’ link by the control panel has disappeared on my account.
Can anyone shed any light on the reason why? Cheers in advance.

Bluebirdoct 1962 i cannot find any of my private messages had one you sent and then replied
but cannot find any now.

I've just noticed this too,maybe a mod has an explanation.
