Bulut - We have to put derby pain behind us
Erol Bulut in today's programme notes:
Having been far the better team when we beat our rivals here earlier in the season, we went to their place confident of getting a result if we played to the best of our abilities. Frustratingly, we lost out in key battles and were sucker-punched with the late goal as we pushed forward in search of a point. Three out of four derby wins this season is good: but we wanted the full set for you.
What we must now do is put the pain of the derby behind us and focus on the remaining eight games of this season. Our intention is to get back to the sort of form and performances that saw us go to five games unbeaten ahead of the derby and pushed us up into the arae of the table that we want to be. We've seen so much progress this season and we have the chance in our remaining fixtures to finish the campaign in a strong manner and secure a respectable league position that is befitting of the efforts put in. Form there, there is the possibility of building nad oushing on again next season in an even stronger position.
