We're quick to slag them off when getting beaten.

Today U18s won 5-2 Vs QPR with a very positive performance.

The U15s won their regional final and move on to the National final beating Burton Albion 2-1.

CARDIFF CITY ARE YOUR EFL FLOODLIT CUP CHAMPIONS!! they beat Burton Albion.

Well done all. The future is bright.

Let's hope this u18 group stay together.

Although they've already lost their best player to United.

Good to see great result However in academy football it means nothing Some of our best academy players have come out of age groups that results wise were not that great Most of the academy players are there to make sure one or two players have games to play
Unfortunately that is academy football One the rare occasion's like the Man Utd academy of the early 90s do you get more than one or two if lucky that go one to make first team appearances and even fewer that make a great career out of it for the team that they played for in academy level.

My nephew plays for the U15s however he was unable to play tonight as he was following concussion protocols following a head injury while playing for Wales in a recent tournament against Norway

That's a shame. Hope he's ok?

Don't know much about that aged group. Seems we have some good players like your nephew. Let's hope they continue.

Allan,

Absolutely correct.

I’ve said for years and this season our young Accademy is the best in Wales and South West, it’s when Purse gets them.

We produce some of the best.

I have watched the younger ones over the years and they really are a pleasure to watch and the football is quality.

That’s weird by Jimmy Rat, NEVER EVER HEARD CITY FANS SLAG OF THE YOUNGER ACCADEMY PLAYERS?

I only ever hear praise including from Myself.

Maybe Jimmy has been doing this in the past and got mixed up.

Yes great to beat BURTON ALBION to the Cup.
