"Leighton James don't like us..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of0Ci6HLJu0RIP...I didn't like him, being a gobby JB, but enjoyed listening to him on the radio phone-ins, getting annoyed with the very mention of CCFC.
I remember him saying once...."Guess what? Cardiff City fans want their own phone in/radio station.....who do they think they are?"

I've never known an ex Welsh international footballer hate Cardiff City so much, I used to love listening to him getting wound up by Cardiff fans on the radio phone ins. Great player for Wales. RIP Leighton James.

My condolences to family and friends RIP.
Loved the fact that you hated us 100% and never changed your view.

Very sad news; a great player and one of few 'Jacks' who commanded the respect of us Bluebirds...
Rip, Leighton James...

Yeah can’t say he came across as a nice person but stood by his views and said it as he saw it. Clearly hated us but he became a parody of himself at times and was easy to wind up!
RIP Welsh legend.

Aaagh! My bad, I confused him with Leighton Phillips...!
Leighton James was not a nice man; in his media duties at least...!
