Surely we will be talking to Liverpool about signing him for next season?
If Bulut stays , will he try 3-5-2or 3-4-3 with Phillips,Goutas and McGuinness/NG as a back 3 with wing backs ???

NAT PHILLIPS REVEALS LIVERPOOL 'PLAN' -
Speaking to LFCTV about his future on Merseyside, Phillips stated: "I’ve enjoyed my period of playing regularly [at Cardiff]. Looking to the summer, sometimes you can worry and overthink things too much.
"You can only control what you can control. The plan is to go back in pre-season and just take it from there."
Phillips made 18 appearances for Cardiff during his five months in Wales but it seems extremely unlikely that he has a future at Anfield, even with a change in management this summer.
Arne Slot is expected to be the man to replace the outgoing Jurgen Klopp this summer and it seems improbable that the current Feyenoord boss will see Phillips as part of his plans.
Phillips, whose contract expires in 2025, has been linked with a move to Leeds United in recent months, although a transfer may hinge on whether or not the Whites achieve promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs.
There are likely to be a number of clubs interested in a no-nonsense centre-back with good experience at an elite level, but unfortunately Liverpool are unlikely to be one of them.

Great player, but part of a very leaky defence at times; albeit with some great performances.
I wouldn't break the bank on him. I'd prefer the cash being put into a striker.
From a very quick look:
Phillips came into the team following a 3-1 defeat to Leeds (roughly the time McGuiness got injured).
We conceded 34 goals in his 'ever present' run in the team.
Without him/before his time at the club, we conceded 36 goals.
17 Starts / 18 appearances / 1 goal (Rotherham away)
