I say that because although I can remember my first city game (It was in the Old 2nd division against Brighton - I think a car caught fire out side in the car park), I can't actually remember many Fa Cup games apart from the obvious ones (and the final of course) and games against Yeovil, Gloucester City , home and away, Man City and Swansea - when there was a a very very big Cardiff turn out.

I knew it was you, I have a lot of respect for you and all the lads from the 80's, I was there but lived in london, so would only join you once in the other town. I loved the team and the lads in them days.

Ah Gwyn I think you mentioned that game in your book. Actually I now also remember we played Stoke away in the 5th round in perhaps 1987, in which we lost 2 - 1 . We were outside and some Stoke guy kept saying we were "worse than Fooking Vale" and giving us shit.
We had the last laugh thou as in the game he had abuse throughout as he was overweight and was wearing a pink jumper. Its funny how you remember things like that , but not the game itself.

Maddest football fight I've ever been involved in was up in Stoke around 82 ish, they smashed us 4 nil, we got soaked to the skin in the open end, escorted out by two young coppers around the back in the car park, there were thousands of Stokies walking through the car park with around 500 of us being escorted clinging to the wall for some shelter from the lashing rain, and suddenly they started bricking us.
Well that was the final straw, 4 nil, soaked through and bricked, everyone of us to a man just charged through the car park and scattered them everywhere, it was mad for ten minutes, but because we were all in one tight group they had no answer to us.
Mad,mad day.
