“ Southampton in massive trouble “

Southampton are in huge trouble financially, if they don’t win the play-offs.

They will have to sell nearly all their team just to cope.

Almost certain that they’ll get a points deduction at some point if they stay in the Championship.


Their executives are very worried.

I thought that may be the case, they have a very expensive squad (i bet them to win the league)

It's the reason i want them and Leeds to both lose their semis as they'd have to shed a lot of quality and the three coming down are not up to that much.....

Next season could be close

Good. They have such an entitled fan base. The meltdown on their forum when they lost to us was impressive. I don't think they will win the play offs either. Lost form at the wrong time and have key injuries.

More money than ever coming in - even more next season, and the majority of clubs in the top 2 divisions are building up debts which they'll never pay off. Sheer madness, and yes, we are more fortunate than many in regard to owners..

I don’t like Leeds but if they do go up it will be good for the Welsh contingent to play at a higher level
Personally I hope Southampton are in the s**t as I want the bellend Russell Martin to suffer
