They’re doing well but they’re crazy to think they can fill a 55,000 stadium.

At least they have a plan and know limitations of what the two of them can do....may be a bit ambitious but all clubs aspire to greater things...its what keeps fans turning up season after season.

And i think the opposite. they are on the edge of arguably the biggest football area and although being ultra competitive if the club was funded to compete at top level they would get a huge following of North Walians in time.Like the old baseball film goes "build it and they will come."

The new season of their welcome to Wrexham series starts tomorrow here in the USA & they're just getting as much publicity as possible for it. You can't say that they haven't done well so far but as so many said this time last year for this season (including most here) they will find it hard to sustain the success.

I'm all for most things in Wales getting as much good coverage as possible around the world & they have certainly done that for Wrexham & for Wales as a whole and would love for all 4 Welsh clubs to be in the same division one day, not that it is likely to happen.

It's just publicity at this point as they now know how it is to build anything in the UK.

It’s a bubble that one day will burst. Hope they struggle next season.

Why do you hope they struggle? Because they have forward thinking owners who have listened to footballing people & have a good rapport with the fans along with their success & we don't or because you just don't like the coverage they get? There's no doubt that the bubble will one day burst, it's what all bubbles do eventually.

I like to see any Welsh side doing well unless the are in direct competition to us and anything that reflects well on Wales is always welcome so the hatred of Wrexham who are not & never have been a threat to us baffles me.

I know they’ve got American fans who fly over for games, but they will never be a club that can get 55k on a weekly basis.

I’m not even sure we’d do that. We may push it if we were top four in the PL year after year, but even that’s not certain.

I think the two actors are getting carried away, especially as they own a third tier team - they’re not even one down from the PL yet.

I have a strong feeling they will be brought back to earth next season when they see how tough League One will be.

They have major momentum at the moment. I hate it, jealous and remember the rivalry from previous years :laughing6:

If they fill 55,000 stadium then it shows exactly what can be done with decent owners.

VERY Interested to see how they get on in L1.

I read not long back the fella that owns Tesla is keen on pumping money into them but they can’t buy 55,000 fans

I'm actually watching the Wrexham developments with a bit of interest. Not sure where it's going to go but everything is going right there it would appear, thus far at least.

They have good owners who are showing ambition, great with the fans and have a vision of getting to the PL, that's their goal and why not? They've looked at us and the Peg Sellers and thought, well they've both done it, why not Wrexham? There was news this week that they will need outside investment I believe but that happens plus the owners are septics just like the Orcs hedgies.

They might do a Wimbledon and climb the leagues just like when Sam Hammam was running the show there, what an achievement that was, so it's possible and they are making all the right noises.

I'd take their owners anyday over Tan/MD/KC if they could provide suitable and sustainable finance. But my preference would be Sam H, he did it with Wimbledon and nearly did it with us, and would have if he wasn't set up and stabbed in the back so others could profit big time.

I don't care about Wrexham and they don't care about us, which is at it should be. But good luck to them and I also suspect that the Three Stooges are also quietly observing them and possibly with a little bit of concern too.

They’re certainly ambitious but I can’t really see how attendances like that can be achieved. The population of Clwyd is around 500,000 which is higher than I thought but 20-25 tops I would think.
Who knows though? The owners have deep pockets and good contacts I’m sure.

55k is way too ambitious considering how close they are to Manchester and Liverpool.
They are definitely bigger than Swansea so 30k max would be more like it.

Wrexham appear to be a club with big ambition and ideas for the future.
This may not reach the level they are talking about, but must be fabulous for their fans to hear.
I wish Cardiff had more ambition as a club. Capitol city of Wales, we should have the backing and the squad to reach and remain in the premiership, with plans to expand our great stadium!
