The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:02 am

Sadly it’s not happening:

Cardiff City are £110 Mill Debt and Tan & others just put enough money in to stop us going bankrupt otherwise Tan would lose everything.

It’s not that it’s £110 Mill Debt we have , it’s the amount of times we have been promised we will be Debt Free???

Over 15 years later and Our Club is NO nearer to being Debt Free, far from it and more money keeps being borrowed.

The Football side, Tan has taken total control again.

I was hearing really good news that we finally had a buyer being accepted this Summer and Tan was going to take a lot less, Well Sadly that’s not happening.

Tan could of taken a great offer and still had some control and had football people on board, but Tan wants all of it and is very stubborn and the only losers are our club and us fans.

Quite the opposite Tan wants to run the show again after Dalman had his chance last season.

Wow we finished 12th, oh fantastic we beat Swansea/ Bristol surely our ambition as a club and fans is way more?

We are running insolvent the accounts even say this

We lost £11 mill but Tan and his mates charged us £6mill interest out of the £11mill loss.

Dalman and Choo between them have a wage of Cardiff totalling £1mill a year.

Dalman has now lent us £30 Mill at 9% interest

Another unknown company has lent us £19 Mill at 9% interest

If we got the Best manager in the world if you don’t fully back him it’s pointless

Vincent Tan wants £200 million to sell, total madness
Who is going to pay that and take on the debts?

Plus all us Fans all we ever hear is another court case , another case.

Their have been genuine buyers out there but Tan won’t budge on the money he wants.

So unless Our Fans Unite like the old days and show the board they are not welcome, nothing will change.

This is not a rallying call as I know most New fans just let it go over their heads and many diehards have just decided they will turn up when it suits them now.

SO WHAT IS THE FUTURE??

I HONESTLY DO NOT KNOW / I DO NOT SEE ANY GREAT FUTURE FOR OUR CLUB UNDER THIS REGIME:

ALL I DO KNOW IS OUR GREAT FANS DESERVE A LOT BETTER.

Very bad news, agree with everything you say there.

With Tan running the football side again, we are going nowhere.

Things will never get better under Tan’s regime, I honestly believe that.

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:10 am

Tan is a lunatic, and belongs nowhere near our great club. He is sucking the life and energy out of the club, team and fans.

If he gets control of the team again, then we are back to he Morrison, Hudson times, no money, no ambition, no hope.

Unlike fans, Tan liked the good times, but dismisses us in the not so good. And he is to blame 100% for the not so good.

A businessman? Don't make me laugh. Sell us Tan I dare you. You loathe the club and its customers, and let me say the feeling is mutual. But then, you get a kick out of that.

Whoever the Buyer is/was.... you never had any intention did you to sell. Tan, your an abomination to our City. Get Out, Sell.

I'll reiterate, whether he cones back or not, VT, your not fit to lace Sam Hammams shoes, and that's a fact.

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:13 am

But but but we will be debt free! The direction we are going in is of instant decline,

Others in here who support tan cannot defend the way the club is being run it's a shame and everyone knows it.

I've heard people say if he doesn't invest then he should move on well here it is he's not investing we are getting into further debt.

We have no sense of direction we have no ambition, tan its time to go I have been saying this for a long time but it's obvious to see he has to go now.

I can't see anyone being able to stick up for tan now it's a full on shit show, our club is a shambles and it hurts to see it this way.

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:16 am

Well I was told the good news was Tan was willing to sell for a lot more less. My accountant, an adamant football fan, told me to make us attractive then the price would need to be around £100m. After hearing that I gave up on seeing the back of Tan this summer.

So going into the next season we will be carrying this £40m loan note at 9%. That is going to eat right into our FFP budget. So don't expect much incoming players of the quality we need. This is for me why Bulut is stalling on the offer he had been given.

Last season I had hope with Dalman taking the reigns but now it looks like we are going back to the status quo. Its not looking good is it. Infact it feels like its going to get a lot lot worse.

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:19 am

Tan has to cut his losses and go, he’s not wanted here, the majority of the fans want Tan gone.

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:21 am

Absolutely gutted but not at all surprised.

I'll always support my beloved Cardiff whoever the owner is and whoever the manager is but I'm getting so tired of the same ol' shit from the club.

I predict crowds of 15k next season and another relegation fight.

TAN OUT!

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:27 am

I usually stay out of the Tan topics, yet this is another blow as I was hoping this Summer we would hear of investment and a brighter future, that won’t happen under this leadership, absolutely gutted

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:29 am

I had a feeling it was going to go this way.

Tan is a man that we all know to be very stubborn and will not take an offer below what he has in his head.

Where do we go from here? He won't keep plowing money in and we become less attractive to buyers each season.

I'm worried for the future of our club.

One starts to lose hope and enthusiasm as time goes on... its hard enough for fans who live locally but take my word for it travelling 3 hrs or more to know nothing is changing on or off pitch is devastating..... :banghead:

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:47 am

Im very very very, worried for the future of Cardiff City! I cannot see us surviving like this, the way things are going. We cannot be I debt year after year, with leeches sucking the like blood out of our beloved club, with interest being piled up year after year without a hope of us paying this off. Whats the solution? I don't know as there seems no escape. it needs the reset button applied maybe and start again? As no one in there right mind will buy us and the debts for what our owner is asking. Where do we go from here????

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:53 am

I woke up this morning thinking we'd be getting good news...gutting

Right back to square one then.

I'm trying to understand it from Tans point of view. He's put loads of money into this club and understandably wants it all back.

But due to his (and others) mismanagement of everything at CCFC from top to bottom, he never will, never, he'll be lucky to get half back...he's got to take the hit. Everyone but him can see it.

So the only way out of this mess from what I can see is to find, by some miracle, a manager that can turn us into a Luton - a team that got promoted on next to nothing.

That could take years to get right.

And what does all this mean for Mr Bulut???

Re: The Good News I Wanted to put out:

Sat May 11, 2024 8:58 am

Annis and others put out many interesting tables re average crowds, away support, many other topics. Where they obtain the information from, I don’t know.

Can someone “in the know” please table the amount of money owed by our peer Championship clubs and the Premiership so that we can compare the City’s £110 million deficit. Our debit may not look so bad, you never know. Myself, I wouldn’t know where to start finding out this detail; it would take me days.

Thanks if anyone can take this on without giving themselves too much of a problem.

Another ground hog day and season.
Hes had his time and had success but ultimately hes ballsd it all up hasn't he.
Dalman wants one way tan the other theres no direction no philosophy still at the club.
Manager after Manager loan after loan nothing to build on.
Court case after court case what an absolutely load of rubbish.
Successful businessman that are a disgrace to this club.
Tan said we would be debt free we owe more .
Its crying out for fresh eyes and an injection of some passion.
Tan just feels hard done by all the time and feels sorry for himself.
I do have some sympathy but he ultimately has himself to blame.

Years ago when he first came here he gave an interview and he said cardiff city had nothing achieved nothing we were crap basically. Well we are still crap Vincent maybe the keeper can shoot more and score more goals.
The red shirts divided the club And the club is now divided off the pitch and here is the problem.

Why doesn't he just sell leave the club hes obviously bitter at most things Cardiff city.
We need money to invest in players he aint got none because he owes so much now back to loans and interest.

Cardiff will stagnate unless he sells or invests or gets investment in and spends it in the right way.
I do feel for tan in some ways but ultimately hes his own worst enemy .
A stubborn man desperate to somehow prove he knows what to do and when he does it he will gloat about and then probably sell the club.
An odd little man with odd ideas .
We'll probably have another new manager we no money to spend again and tan wants top six and if bt Christmas it aint happening he will be sacked i can see it all now.
Not the way to run a successful football club is it

The books andaccounts do match your figures of 6million a year interest also choo and Dalman do not get paid 1 million a year choo ispart time and dalman slashed his wage right down also confirmed by you earlier this season , if your going to put something out please make sure its righ.you over inflate figures to suit your agenda against the board .Just put the true fact figures out and more people would espect you for that.

Wez : we have borrowed over £26 million from Dalman at 9% . We have borrowed £19 million from another company at 9% . We also owe Tan over £63 million ….part of which is at 7% . All the above figures are in the May 2023 accounts . If you add these up they come to more than £6 million interest.

Remember this was a year ago and is almost certainly more now .

Also remember Wez, it’s quite appalling that our CEO & Chairman are part-time and yes their unbelievable shocking wages are lower than they were, but between them still nearly a £million for doing nothing.
They work full-time in London for Tans car business.

Look Wez, My strongest point to you is that we all care for our club . You and I should not be fighting over what is a fact that is damaging to our club .

Please join me in trying to identify our problems, to try and do something about it .

It’s seems he’s going nowhere then, and as mentioned in one post above he love the admiration when we winning.
So why don’t we turn the tables and l show him we love him, and we want to go on a journey with him as our leader. Just to get what we want. Because if he is the type of person we think he is all this anti tan would help us get what we want, because this way is certainly not working.

It’s a plan for the long game and the greater good, he backed us once when times were good and he was loved it can happen again. Maybe that’s our only chance as he’s refusing to sell and we stuck with him anyway.
