Small improvement to forum?

So, a couple of other forums I’m a member of has a very similar set up, but let’s say I reading a thread and there’s a new post I click in new post and I’m automatically taken to oldest post that I haven’t read, so saves me having to scroll through posts to find where I read up to. Especially helpful in bigger threads.

Is this something that can be done here, and does anything think this would be beneficial for us?

Also while we are here I have never sussed how to insert a photo or graphic, any tutorials you can point me to on here?

Yes that works. Is there any option on the mobile version which I use. If not I use the desktop.
