O/T Eurovision

Seems to be a lot of controversy around Eurovision this year.

First, people didn’t want Israel to be able to compete. They allowed Israel to enter but then they had to change the song as it alluded to certain events last year.

They did change the song and now are one of the favourites to win.


Today it was announced that the Dutch entry has been disqualified for an unspecified backstage incident - a female member of the production team said they felt intimidated by him.

It's all too serious nowadays, it was supposed to be a bit of knockabout fun, but now it's block voting and political messaging.

It’s to do with the fact people have different tastes, as I put in my original post.

Some like football, some like rugby.

Some like Labour, some like Tory.

Some like Bulut, some don’t.

Some like Eurovision, some don’t.

Thankfully for a lot of people (including those who organise the show probably), Israel didn’t win.

Switzerland the surprise winners.

UK got nothing from the public vote but finish 18th thanks to the jury vote. A huge improvement on last year when they were second bottom.

I’d also say, fundamental Islam has no place here. Why many Muslims came here to live in peace. Support Hamas, Hezbollah, and its agents, f-off out of Britain.

Islam = To submit to Allahs will. Any group immigrating to a country gains more political and social influence as numbers increase, does anyone believe this is a positive for the UK?

For me and millions of others Israel are worse than Nazi’s as they are doing exactly or even worse than what was done to them, so they should know better.

I know everything about them and they are a very very evil Country.

Worse than the Nazis? The Israeli reaction, to the October massacre, was always gong to be brutal and excessive but worse than Nazis, that’s hyperbole. The "Genocide” has resulted in the population in Gaza more than doubling, in the last 30 years. The bigger picture is Hamas, Palastinian Jihad and all the other Islamist groups don’t want a “free” Palastine, they want a Worldwide Islamic Caliphate. I don’t see any end to the Arab/Israeli problem, two groups who get their laws from books written thousands of years ago, who despise each other.

All Palestinians want is their own rights , own country and be left alone.

Nearly 40,000 Innocent Women, Children and Men have been massacred.

8,5000 are locked up and starving to death.

Israel are the Terrorists without a doubt.
