https://uk.yahoo.com/news/alcohol-ban-m ... 00640.htmlJust read this article , if I understand correctly that gonna totally change to cliental for the affected areas. Imagine if you already booked for July in magaluf and now you won’t be able to get a beer after 9.30. Will it work is there a way around it?

It’s totally exaggerated as it’s two very very small
Places where there has been trouble from UK tourists
And it’s actually shops not bars
Never believe the Media
And it’s actually been in place for 2 years

Ah I see. So the whole of magaluf isn’t closed at 9.30 then. It did seem a tad extreme.

Even then, they do what they want regardless.
I was in Magaluf last August for a mates birthday, not my type of place - I'm too old for the crowd over there! Point being though, the shops were still selling booze at 11pm, they don't care over there for rules.

Hi guys.
We’d just like to try and help clear up some confusion regarding the situation in certain parts of Mallorca and Ibiza. So there are some areas including where we are in Magaluf that are governed by stricter laws than elsewhere. This was brought in during Covid and still continues today. One of the rules is that drinking on the streets is prohibited and that supermarkets can not sell alcohol after 21:30.
Unfortunately due to a misleading article by the Mallorca Daily Bulletin this news has been misinterpreted and shared by the mainstream media making people think that the ban on alcohol affects all establishments. This is not the case and we’d like to get the word out that Magaluf and other resorts included on the list are open for business as usual and that the bars and restaurants and clubs are operating the same as before.
We’d really appreciate it if everyone could share our post and try to spread the word.
We’ve already had many phone calls from people with bookings that are wondering how it’s going to affect their holidays, and also people considering going elsewhere due to the fact they think they can’t have a glass of wine with their dinner after 21:30!
THIS IS NOT THE CASE !
As a business we’re all for rules and regulations that protect the resort from excessive drinking and some of the problems this brings, but this news is nonsense, and you’ll still be able to enjoy yourselves in the establishments here in Magaluf and the other resorts stated.
ONCE AGAIN PLEASE SHARE!!
Thanks
