Infighting.

Sun May 12, 2024 6:51 am

It’s sad to see so much infighting at the moment. Ultimately we all want the same thing, success for Cardiff City FC.

I’ve made my personal view known, I don’t believe we’ll ever move on and be successful under our current owner.

There are others that are more respectful of what Tan has done for the club, and they are entitled to that opinion.

As fans, our primary concern is turning up and supporting the team through whatever gets thrown at us.

In my opinion we need stability, not just on the pitch and dugout but primarily off it. The best owners are the ones you rarely hear about and that’s certainly not Tan.

The summer is going to be a long one, I’m sure plenty of rumours of takeovers and stellar signings will circulate, while we watch teams battle it out in another tournament we’re not at.

We need to unite as a fanbase, let’s not blame Tan, the team or Wayne Nash for the poor atmosphere. It’s about time we took some responsibility and turned the CCS into a place teams don’t like coming to. Support the boys, make some noise and try to leave all the politics and back room bullshit to other people.

Good post, BUT there will always be a lack of unity among fans when the owner is treating fans the way that he is.

We are paying good money to support our club, and let's face it, football isn't cheap anymore.

He has failed in the MLS, he has failed with Kortrijk and he is failing at City since he has lost interest.

Taking control back from Dalman now I fear that the one good thing that we had (Tan not sticking his nose in) is gone - what shambles will we be next season?

He is more interested in court cases and his Starbucks over in Malaysia.

I understand that he "saved us" - I use the word saved very losely here. Whilst he may have made sure that the club still exists, it doesn't feel like the club I have supported my entire life. That magic left when he turned us red and stuck a stupid dragon on our badge.

As long as he owns us, the fans will always be divided.

F@#k Tan.

Oh yeah, we always find something to argue about, Cardiff v Valleys, Ely v Fairwater haha but I’ve never seen it this bad and I agree it’s all down to one man, but we have no control over what he does sadly.

Oh yeah much worse during those days mate.

We just seem to have lost the middle ground, it’s either hate Tan or love him. I don’t think many love him, they just don’t see an alternative at the moment

Infighting or a difference of opinion?

A difference of opinion is generally respectful. A few comments I’ve seen are far from that

A fish rots from the head....

Not sure if that's for Cardiff or Cantona... :D

Seriously though. It is groundhog day at Cardiff.
A bit of direction and passion wouldn't go a miss.

The owner and his men, need to understand the club.

We are more Millwall than Fulham....
He's neglected the heart and the soul and tried to put earrings and a necklace on an unwell body...
Now we need surgery.
