I listened to alot of TalkSport yesterday, and I'd say a good 80-90% of Spurs fans wanted them to lose yesterday!

It's a tricky one. And a reason why I absolutely love football as it can cause common sense and logic to go out of the window!

I wouldn't want to see Swansea win anything; that's how I'm built. I respect others who don't see it as fierce, but if they played Pluto away in the universal cup, I'd support Pluto and get joy in them losing.

I'm on the fence. The competitor in me want us to win every game, fight for every point. The spiteful rival in me would want to see our biggest rival (Bristol, come on lads!!) not win a major trophy.

I will never understand anybody who would want us to lose under any circumstances. I used to hate it if we lost a pre-season friendly let alone something as meaningful as a league or cup game.

Whilst it's nice to win derby games, our league position has far more relevance to our progress as a football club than the one-upmanship gained by derby day victories. There are no positives to be gained by being obsessed with our local rivals.

Spurs had a very outside chance of getting in the champions league, whether they beat Citeh or not. So on that basis, i can understand why Spurs Fans wanted their side to lose a one off match.

I still remember how excited I was when Swansea almost went out of the football league years ago. Drinking in the Culver pub, wishing them down. Sadly it didn’t come off but one game loss for misery and pain for our rivals, yes please

Nah, I still don't get it. Even allowing for the local rivalry, Wales would be a poorer place if Swansea went out of the league, as it was when Newport and Wrexham lost their league status.

I just don't have that sheer hatred inside me that you and others must have towards our friends from the west.

Since I first started supporting the team back in the 60's, a defeat always rankled, no matter who the opposition or the tournament and that will never change.
