I’m a Trustee for the above charity, we’re a peer led charity that help people with substance misuse issues.

I’ve a long history of alcohol abuse and I wish I’d heard of RC in the midst of my worse drinking.

I’m currently 8 years sober and volunteering and being a Trustee for this organisation has played a massive part in my recovery.

I want to spread the word about the amazing support we offer as a charity but also offer my support to people that may be struggling.

I agree; and Simon deserves credit for sharing his story in the pursuit of helping others...

Thanks for the kind words all, helping others is a massive part of my recovery, is cathartic, and hopefully makes up for a lot of selfish things I did while drinking.

I had substance issues when I was young and can only speak positively about the work that charities like this do - it really is worth reaching out, no matter what the extent of the problem.
