SIX IN FOR BESKITAS JOB: BUT

Wed May 15, 2024 3:19 pm

There are six names currently in the running to take over at Besiktas – but none of them are Erol Bulut, according to Fotospor.

Bluebirds boss Bulut had been linked with Besiktas earlier this month after the Turkish club announced they would part ways with ex-Portugal boss Fernando Santos.

Fotospor was the outlet which first claimed Bulut was in the running at Besiktas, however they now believe it is a six-horse race for who takes over next term.

Among the top targets is Nuri Sahin, who is currently the assistant manager at Borussia Dortmund. If he doesn't get the top job there this summer, he is thought to be open to the Besiktas role.

Crucially, though, there is no Bulut.
