Unfortunately lost, stopped in the 8th round. He never recovered from the onslaught from Cacace in the 3rd round. A punch from Cacace after the ref stepped in may have contributed to Cordina's downfall but take nothing away from Cacace, he was brilliant.

Such a shame, was too easy to hit.
Not sure where he goes from here

Maybe a rematch but at 32 years old this may be the end.

They were talking about a rematch after the fight so you never know.

Sadly Joe kept dropping his hands which made him very easy to hit. He never capitalised on his left hook which I thought would win him the fight. Might be the end for Joe?

Something wasn't right tonight. Joe doesn't sit and stay on the ropes.

Great performance by the other fella. He couldn't miss tonight.

Gutted for Joe.

Main event now. I’ve a feeling Fury comes out and overpowers Usyk, finishing him in round 5.

Also Usyk could box his head off and stop him late on

Also either of them could win on points :D

:laughing6: yeah it's a difficult one to call but I'm going for Fury, I think his size will count in the end.

Dead atmosphere, money talks sadly.

The ring walk reminded me of Rocky IV... Usyk getting in looking in the zone and Fury like Apollo dancing about

Usyk should win this but you never know, a dodgy draw could also be on the cards.

Great fight, very professional performance from Usyk and a very much deserved victory. Although there was a dodgy judge in there........

The scorecards were generous to Fury, i thought Usyk won comfortably. I thought Fury's size would prove pvitol but What a boxer Usyk is, one of the true greats, of all time. To unify the belts at cruiser and heavyweight is immense. Rematch in October, Usyk to win again but he's a bit older than Fury.

Yeah I agree, put him on him from round one and Fury had no answer, apart from a few decent middle rounds.

If I were Usyk I’d retire at the top, nothing more to prove now.

Would seem the sensible thing to do but I think he's contracted for the rematch and Fury said after the fight that he wants it.
