The situation is likely to be resolved in the next few days but no clear indicator of which way the manager's situation will go....
It was initially indicated that a 'more than 12-month' contract was agreed but that now appears wide of the mark with the owner preferring to have an effective 'rolling contract' situation in place...
I'll be honest here and say I actually understand the owner's concerns for a McCarthy-like contract but equally, I would like Erol Bulut to stay for next season...
I now have my (personal) doubts; but either way, most players are released in June/July and bought/signed near the sason's start, so nowhere nar panic time...yet!

It should have been sorted weeks ago. If Tan didn’t want Bulut he should have been released as soon as the season finished and another manager appointed
But once again we are left in limbo..Tan is an absolute idiot who makes the same mistake again and again when will he ever learn?? His incompetence has cost him £millions

It's bulut not making a decision apparently he's been offered a rolling contract by tan/dalman guess tan should have just said goodbye dont want you then bulut wouldn't have a decision to make about city.... and tell me why hasn't bulut walked if treated as badly as been made out on here.. you do realise he's a free agent so upto him what he does not ccfc.

Yep I’m aware he’s a free agent which makes the delay even more ridiculous
Tan has supposedly offered him a contract and that contract Bulut has found not acceptable so we should move on
The heirachy would have known this weeks, maybe months ago so why are we still left in limbo?
Incompetence on behalf of the Board (Tan)

If bulut found it unacceptable why hasn't he gone elsewhere and told club no thanks seeing as number of clubs wanting him.? Cannot put blame entirely on ccfc when no facts are provided by either parties other than offer on table in form of rolling contract. ... but there again if club got rid of bulut that be wrong and club gets blame! lose lose for club it appears. ..

The fact it appears they are still talking means there must be a chance of a compromise that is acceptable to both parties
Hope so because if not we are going to way behind other clubs in planning for next year. A situation we too often find ourselves in!!
