The situation needs to be sorted out NOW. There are a lot of good players being released by their clubs or are now out of contract. The longer we dilly dally the less chance we have of getting GOOD players and we will be left with the also rans yet again.

Dont forget there are another 22 clubs looking for players and will be in same position as us? Early days yet and you hope officials at city (dont mean the 3 omegos) keeping In contact with agents time to worry is no manager come start season ..

Whoever does the scouting and liase with agents.. or do you think dalman or Ken ring around agents of players asking who do they have available? A manager gets involved so does his assistants ect...... lot more to football than the owners Co ect that's why said problems if mo manager before season starts

It was initially indicated that a 'more than 12-month' contract was agreed but that now appears wide of the mark with the owner preferring to have an effective 'rolling contract' situation in place...

I'll be honest here and say I actually understand the owner's concerns for a McCarthy-like contract but equally, I would like Erol Bulut to stay for next season...

I now have my (personal) doubts; but either way, most players are released in June/July and bought/signed near the sason's start, so nowhere nar panic time...yet!

I am also with Tan on this. McCarthy effectively gave up after his good start and contract extension. He almost provoked his dismissal and i assume we paid his contract for the duration, hence why Tan wanted cheap for that period until it almost cost us our championship place.

I'd love to know what caveats Watford places in their head coaches' contracts that allow them to go through them so frequently. I reckon (pure guess) Tan wants those sort of terms in Buluts.

It's bulut not making a decision apparently he's been offered a rolling contract by tan/dalman guess tan should have just said goodbye dont want you then bulut wouldn't have a decision to make about city.... and tell me why hasn't bulut walked if treated as badly as been made out on here.. you do realise he's a free agent so upto him what he does not ccfc.

Agree we cannot find ourselves in same position year after year.... not sure if there's nothing unusual about things at club just normal end season lull waiting on decisions or whether something biggish is in the air concerning club that effects everything ? Hopefully soon get answers.

Paper talk probably as they keep a list of clubs after him unfortunately can only go on what's put out by media outlets as we know nothing regarding city! But always been my question why hasn't he gone to another club if he's Been treated so badly??
