New Regulations will further stifle the atmosphere!

My mate played golf this morning and he got talking to a guy who's a steward in the Ninian Stand.

He told my mate the Rules and Regulations will be worse next year (zero tolerance).

He also said he hates having to dish the rules out to the fans and he admits the match day experience is the worst he can ever remember.

Some power struck people are making it dismal down there!!

Standing in the Ninian stand,swearing,racist chanting(ie anti English songs)and more most probably.I've personally lost count of the times i've been told to sit down but the Swansea game was allowed(double standards).You can stand for the jacks because we need an atmosphere i was told.

Who voted for these changes to "our" stadium fans or
w.nk.r Nash.?

Bring back the hostile atmosphere at Ninian Park

We were known for it and, more to the point, away fans have said to me that they prefer the atmosphere as it's all part of the away day out

Time to call it a day...it has been fun over the years but it's gone now..even boring I'd say...been going down there since 1982.. but the excitement of going as gone.. just not feeling it anymore..never thought I'd feel that way..but it is what it is..watched the Leeds fans the other day..what a difference..

Buluts football does that for them though!

I'm surprised, or maybe not, that the stewarding or atmosphere was not a topic of discussion by the fan members of the newly formed board.

What process is in place for these fan members to actually engage with the rest of the fan base to ensure they represent the whole fan base views ?

So they put safe standing in for away fans, kick out the city fans for standing.

Is Nash a closeted Jack?

Generating an atmosphere is a boardroom issue and the fab/Trust etc should be pushing this.

Artete said the lack of it at the Emirates was affecting player performance and made it a key issue. It was addresses and Artete said performance has improved.

So if someone like Artete is saying this, why is someone like Wayne Nash trying to do the reverse? It's madness and just not acceptable given the above.

I also noted that when the subject of part of 117 being closed last season, Keith Morgan said words to the affect that he supported it as he'd seen bodycam footage of something to do with a steward. I sit there and there has never been a problem apart from occasional over zealous stewarding of some of the youngsters who are no problem at all. One steward is a particular problem with this, the high Viz has gone to his head and somebody at the academy who sits near me reported him. But this is also another thing reason why the Trust so not in any way represent all fans, they only have a membership of 400 and I don't like the thought of how Keith's view may influence club policy and Wayne Nash etc.

The excuse why 117 was closed was that we were expecting more away fans so needed extra space, which is more Wayne Nash BS as he's on his little power trip and die some reason, seems to have it in for fans who like a decent traditional football atmosphere.

But it is a boardroom issue and that is what the FAB is there for.

Club don't give a crap about the fans.They even let the away fans out first in some games while our fans stood in the rain for 40 minutes.That city fan who got assaulted by Ipswich fans would have been ok if they kept the away fans in.Everything they do down there is a total f**k up.Good shout about Arsenal,their atmosphere has rocketed fair play to Arteta.

For the first time at home games in my 5 decades of support, I feel on a draconian tightrope of watching eyes. I’m very vocal, a singer, i love the limbs, I know I’m 55 but f**k it we don’t have much to cheer, and when we score I celebrate! Shirt comes off you know my type. Never a hooligan, never scrapped, always to drunk or stoned in them days! Kept the banter and anti English/Jacks/Worzels stuff confined to the ground. My son is 14 and a mini me, loves the limbs, bleeds blue, and a lovely dude. We start a lot of chants home and away. We have been threatened I don’t know how many times this season by stewards at the front of the canton. No excessive profanity or controversy leaves our lips. I rely on one of the older stewards I know who always speaks up for us. If it’s going to get worse, then terrace culture, banter. The crack etc is all dead at Cardiff city home games. I’ve renewed but boy is my loyalty being tested

Spot on mate, that's what it's all about and we need it happening throughout the whole ground. We are watching football, not a tennis.

Pretty much how many feel at games.

The club are missing a trick here. An intimidating home atmosphere would probably net you a few bonus wins a season add to that a few draws aswell . With the club having to cut back on financial contributions, then this is a no brainier.
I think of two home games last year where the home atmosphere got us the extra points, Ipswich and Swansea. I wouldn’t say it is something that should be removed. Home advantage should be an advantage not a leveller.

nashy strikes again, i do worry for our club over the next 12 months

They would rather have an award for most pleasing ground for away fans than see our atmosphere go through the roof-FACT.

If everyone stood they couldn't do a thing about it, yes I understand that some have to sit due to health and how that would be addressed. I have no idea.

I would say our away support is getting bigger, as it's far more entertaining and an atmosphere to go away than it is at home. We do have some good stewards and pleasant stewards but we also have a large majority of power mad jobsworths who like to pick on youngsters.

Get the players involved ,how many times have we seen a player geeing up the crowd to get behind them .maybe they can lobby the club to get things done

Jules, we are told the club cut ties somewhat with CCSC until they (or their representatives) fell back in line, which it seems they did

Nash / CCST are totally not bothered by atmosphere , they want it Zero Tolerance regarding our fans and want it happy clapping,
That’s how they see the future.

Funny Away Fans take the mick how Soulless our stadium is and are able to stand. Abuse us and point etc etc

If there isn't anyone in the club that doesn't realise that an atmosphere will help performances on the pitch and on the monthly profit/loss reports, then it's another case of 'what the f**k are they doing then?'.

I can see this really becoming an issue next season and I do think there will be calls from The Canton for The Ninian to stand up, we as fans maybe need to protest more about this issue than against our owner, the atmosphere at most home games this season has been pretty dire and that cannot continue.

Blaming the stewards??? sorry there are some really good stewards not saying all, however the Wales games have a great atmosphere with the same stewards in the same stadium
