I think it's a case of Tan not wanting to agree with Buluts terms, but also not wanting to come back with another tin pot manager like some of the others we have had.

Martin, Erol Bulut's current contract ends 4th June, so technically he is still our manager; but it's now expected he will sign a new deal once he gets back from a deserved reunion holiday with his family

It will be interesting to see what his budget will look like but I don't expect him to have much to pay transfers with; more likely to stick with the owner's preferred method of paying decent wages for free agents and loanees
