KV. Kortrijk Stay up, Davies.

Sun May 26, 2024 2:19 pm

Davies was taken off in the 74-75th minute after working his socks off, with the fans chanting his name. In poor weather conditions in a tight game.

Davies finished top goal scorer mainly feeding on scraps playing in a team on the back foot in most games, Still a good experience for him and getting his first full season in terms of playing regular under his belt.

Extra time ended in a goal fest..

Good to see, worth giving Davies a crack next year, the way it’s going we’ll have no choice but to play him

Or perhaps sell him if we get a good offer. It's rumoured a number of European top flight sides have been watching him.

He is scoring goals in a struggling side so a season away might have done him a world of good. He could be one of those players that develop a little late.

I watched most of the games he played in, via betting sites, the only way I could, they loved him there, played through the middle, out wide at times, moving around during games, they were a poor team, not easy for him, it's crazy but that is really his first season in trems of starting a lot of games, and not getting 20-15 mins hear and there.

Was a key player there, so they were looking for him when they could, hopefully Cardiff find away to fit him in the system, and give him a run of games, and see from there, but will need to get goals again of course, or will end up, going down the leagues, like Mark Harris, and trying again.
