The Icelandic former centre-back was Kortrijk's third manager of the season during a disastrous campaign which almost saw them drop out of the Belgian top flight. He was recruited back in January after impressive work in Denmark with Lyngby Boldklub.

He has struggled at times and also worked well at Kortrijk this season, with many believing they looked nailed on to drop down in the Challenger Pro League. Thankfully, with the help of Cardiff loanees Isaak Davies, Sheyi Ojo and Ryotaro Tsunoda, KVK maintained Pro League.

While KVK is, of course, in Vincent Tan's football club portfolio, along with FK Sarajevo, Cardiff City is clear the jewel in that particular crown. The links between Cardiff and KVK, whose CEO is also the Bluebirds' CEO in Ken Choo, appeared to grow stronger this season after a failed sale of the club last year, with the Welsh club utilising the Belgian side to help give players game time.

Whether that extends to swapping managers, however, is another conversation all together. At the time of writing, Cardiff's position is poised delicately, with Erol Bulut still not having agreed a deal to take charge of the club next season. It leaves Cardiff in a state of flux.

You can just see this happening cant you. He would be cheap and when Vincent realises in November that it was a foolish decision it wouldnt cost him too much to sack him.

Calm down mate. This manager has said he will one day manage in the prem and champ. He was probably prompted on CCFC.

Well he actually joined them when they were bottom of the league in January and saved them from relegation. Has also had a stint as Iceland's assistant manager.

Lighten up ffs, it's a joke just like the club, the Trust, the board and must say that you should mock brave French soldiers of any country.

You mean you lighten up, and don’t take it serious.

Wow:

Jules , you change daily, best not even come on one of my topics again, that I mean as you can’t take a joke.
If you’ve not heard you’re words about being in the trenches growing up then you’ve not been around.

I have a life and I won’t let you start another shit stirring topic

I stand by below:
The French and Italians would change sides depending on who was winning.

Also as I am in to history big time, I am going to Normandy again this year, in My View the French were not side by side like you may think with us, quite the opposite.

Jules,

Always mocking our fans or belittling them.

Our fans give every new manager a chance and fully back them, they are allowed their opinions on if they want or would not want them, who do you think you are Dictator Tan.

As to players we fully back them as soon as they become a Bluebird.

If I was to search your posts I bet you have had good and bad comments on managers.

Each week You change your mind on Tan, exactly like the Weather you are.

Lighten up as you say.

Personally wouldn't want to be in your trench undoubtedly you would throw the FOOTSOLDIER out naked and without a gun!.... I'm a pragmatist and dont go in for hysterical reactions to what someone says I've always stated prefer wait to see what happens then I know what is true not what people interprete as true to suit their agenda........ he as ambitions to be a manager in premier league and as he's employed by our owner Cardiff is mentioned but not I am not city's next manager but all you get is hysterical reaction from people on here and faceless book at Meare mention of city..... Anyway i shan't lose sleep over who is next manager as i cannot choose who it is but will still be at city even if Mickey mouse was in charge this season.......
Ps I'm one of the lucky ones don't do any sort social media .. :D
