It's half term and most families will have been away. Doesn't look any different to how CCS will look next season if VT doesn't start smelling the coffee.

I’d imagine we’d have between 17-22 thousand depending on league position etc etc. there’s barely 10k there and it’s shared by 4 teams, good weather, kids off school etc.

Who cares Wez really. Let's get our club sorted. I hope whomever went there today enjoyed it as an arena and decides they'll come back for football.

Welsh club rugby has been stripped of its identity by the marketing gurus who understand nothing about the game, but in defence of the eggs on this occasion
1- The regions have been dire
2- The games were played right at the end of the season. There was nothing on it for 3 of the teams and the chances of the Ospreys qualifying depended on them winning with a bonus point and relying on al 3 other teams chasing the final spot and failing to pick up bonus points. Somehow that happened!!
3- The other game had already been played so most of the supporters of those teams would have gone home
4- The venue doesn't help. Its far more of a day out when its in the centre of Cardiff.

Hasn’t domestic Rugby, always had fairly low crowds, from an International Rugby Standpoint, Wales even if getting the wooden spoon get 60-70k fans, friendlies etc. And many more around the city in bars etc.. Welsh football, that does not happen, winning every game and playing well, could happen, yes if we did not play at the CCS, playing poor with no chance of qualification or a friendly, no chance. Unless one of the big ones, England, Brazil maybe.
International Rugby is very big in Wales, Domestic far less so, as you say.

Wouldn’t even say International rugby is big, it’s more a big piss up than true love of the game. I love rugby but the majority of people at Welsh internationals haven’t got a clue

Totally agree with that. Despite being football through and through I will watch Cardiff at the Arms Park a couple of times a year and the people who go are knowledgeable and proper rugby supporters but same cant be said many of those who troop into Cardiff on international day. I have absolutely no data to back this up but i would guess a large number haven't seen a club/regional game in years, if ever.

Crowd reported as just over 20k throughout the day, obviously a lot of spectators only watched their team. Also both game on TV and a beautiful day for a family outing so not a bad crowd considering and Cardiff City must have made a few thousand?
