Fav away trip?

Wed Jun 12, 2024 11:13 am

For me, the London ones are a great day out.

Early train, few bevvies around London before the Game, then back to the pub after before the last train back to Cardiff.

QPR and Milwall are always fun.

Agree about the London games. So easy to get anywhere when you’re in the city and plenty of places to drink.

I also like the smaller stadiums - over recent years been to the likes of Luton, Bournemouth, Burton etc.

The games in the Birmingham area (Birmingham, Villa, West Brom, Wolves) are always good because again, plenty of places to go pre-match.

Also always been a big fan of games in the North West and North East.

Least favourites are Swansea and Bristol.

Swansea is just not worth the trouble of the bubble - especially for people like me who live away. Bristol is not enjoyable because it’s difficult to go anywhere pre-match and they always treat us badly.

Fulham for me.

Easy to get to.

Some nice pubs by the river (if a bit expensive!0

Nice stroll to the ground.

And a Craven Cottage Pie at half time!

Home nice and early too.

Fulham for a gentle away trip

Always loved going to the more unwelcoming places. Love a trip to Hull (when I was drinking, the thought of doing it sober fills me with dread)

That’s the only away ground I’ve ever done sober. On Dibs coach with a bin for the pisser, what an experience
