Oxford have a good young manager who worked for the man city group for years managing abroad mainly with a variety of their clubs. may he will be a able to get a bit of a tune out of them, even if our poor managers at the time could not?

I expect Murphy to leave this summer.

Think they will struggle.

They went down to L1 because championship was too good for them. Oxford need championship quality players if they want to stay up.

I agree. I wouldn’t have any of them back tbh.

They have championship level players. They have about 5 or 6 players who would get into our team easily.

Elliot Moore
Greg Leigh
Cameron Brannagan
Tyler Goodrhem
Josh Murphy
Mark Harris (based on last season)

Murphy is very happy there and very settled.

His last three months of the season showed potentially he is better than any of our wingers and it’s not even close. The goal he scored in the final not one of our players could do.

Well having watched a lot of Oxford and a lot of Cardiff last year I’m being very serious.

Beg your pardon mate, I was thinking of his last year with Cardiff. My apologies.
He has indeed had a good season but a big difference between league 1 and championship. Be interesting to see how he does. :bluescarf:

100% I wouldn’t have meant his last season with Cardiff.

I’m not sure he’s ever played as a striker for us normally winger although I could be corrected on that.

He started like a house on fire and then tailed off and I thought that was him done. Then he came good again and scored a few more.

Works really hard as the 9 for Oxford. It’s into his feet rather than to his head.

When you see Brannagan you will be super impressed. Very much like Kavanagh.

Ciaran Brown has improved massively too.
