O/t isle of wight festival

Anyone on here going to the isle of wight festival next week ? , I go each year and see lots of Cardiff and wales tops in the crowd

Been a couple of times but it's a bit of a shithole .prefer isle of wight tbh .

Ah right, might have to look into that one. Always fancied Glastonbury but it's always sold out ridiculously quickly

iow early bird was 220 each for weekend with camping , but I've upgraded to pink moon camping, private area etc cost 500 for a 4 berth tent but there's no waiting for showers or toilets , private bar with dj and food vans . All in all about 1k with ferry parking ect

I'd turn my hearing aid off if that lot was in my back garden.
Long gone are the days of Hendrix and Dylan at that the Isle of Wight festival.

£1000 for a festival, thats a bit sharp, cheaper to go and watch Wales play Gibraltar and a week in the Algarve, though you would have to put up with the footy of course! :banghead:

1970 With Hendrix confirmed, artists such as Rory Gallagher, Cactus, Chicago, the Doors, Lighthouse, the Moody Blues, the Who, Miles Davis, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Jethro Tull, Sly and the Family Stone, Ten Years After, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Free also took part.
