CONFIRMED: ‘Cardiff City Heading to Austria And: ‘

As stated on here over a month ago:

Cardiff head over to Austria between July 19 and July 26. Fixtures for that tour are to follow.



However, the club have confirmed four domestic pre-season games either side of that tour, starting with their first game against Kidderminster Harriers at Cardiff International Sports Campus in Leckwith on Wednesday, July 10, at 7.30pm.

Cardiff City v KV Kortrijk: Cardiff International Sports Campus – Saturday, July 13, 12pm.




The final game before City head off to Austria will be against Cymru Premier side Penybont FC, again in Leckwith, on Tuesday, July 16 at 7.30pm.

After the tour, Cardiff come back and play against Reading at Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday, July 31 at 7.30pm.

Tour to Austria – Friday, July 19 to Friday, July 26. Fixtures to be announced


Cardiff City v Reading: Cardiff City Stadium – Wednesday, July 31, 7.30pm.

Looks fun, shame we ain't playing at some of the Welsh clubs stadiums though!

next up will be the new kit reveals hopefully.
hope they dont just wait until the 1st friendly match to reveal it.
I think i can speak for every fan in saying we dont want to wait a long time to see our new kits.
Especially because we will have our old badge back.
the sooner we see the kits the better i say

also gutted cardiff are not playing barry town at jenner park.

I’d be surprised if we’re not playing an away game the Saturday before the season starts.

Pre season games are just for fitness and practice - I know this

BUT

I am slightly disappointed with the opponents chosen

Gone are the days of Ajax, Lazio, Betis, Celtic etc
Big clubs to draw the crowds

Looks like it’s been done on a back of a fag packet. Totally underwhelming

Any chance we can pick up Baumgartner on the way there and bring him back to the CCFC Stadium

These big teams are now asking so much money to turn up and play a friendly that you will only lose money as a club.
