Every player below the PL should be given their chance to play at that level if the buying club wants them. The money mentioned seems to be a good deal for CCFC if true.

Have you seen the mediocre players in the championship leaving for 8m plus? We couldnt even get a decent championship player for 5m these days the market is mad. I'd rather permanent players than a load of loans too

But if someone did offer £5m for a player who has one goal and three assists in the league over 56 games in the last two seasons, then I’d accept it straight away.

Put it this way, we wouldn’t be happy if we spent £5m on a player with those stats.

He's simply not worth more than 5m if that .... if a club pays 8m for an average championship player more fool them... yes would certainly prefer 23 contracted players but that's not going to happen so loan players are a nessasary evil ....

He’s an offensive creative player and not a fit in Buluts rigid tactic. He and a few others had the flair coached out of them last season, yet so many times led the cavalry chasing the game when they threw Buluts tactic out of the window in injury time. I am not blind however, I agree with some of the criticism and concerns, there have been growth spurts and injuries as well. And he has frustrated me at times also, but in that rigid sideways inverted width slow tactic of last season he was standing out particularly towards the seasons end as being very creative with his flicks turns and little through balls. Therefore I think we should keep him and see if he improves again this season. I think in a different squad with a different manager and more fluid tactics he would thrive. He does not have like minded players around him. One more season, if not a big improvement then test the transfer market. He’s one of our own, he’s creative, we don’t have a lot of either in our squad and for me they are two massive plus points.

Agree. And also your point about the flair being coached out of players and these types not being trusted to take risks with the ball.

I like Colwill but don’t see how he fits into Bulut’s system.

Even if he did any offer of £5m+ has to be considered. That could buy us a decent striker.
