Michael Reindorf operates as both an attacking midfielder and a striker joins the Bluebirds having most recently been playing for Kettering Town on loan from Norwich City’s U21 side.

Commenting on joining the Club, Michael said: "I'm very excited to join Cardiff City. It's a new journey and a new beginning, I can't wait to get started. At my previous clubs, my attitude was to work hard each and every day. I want to come here and show everyone what I can do."

Michael Reindorf aged 19 released by Norwich City had joined Kettering Town in a short-term loan deal last season.









Also Luke Pearce has moved to the Bluebirds having previously been at Southampton’s U21 team.


The 20-year-old is an explosive attacker with plenty of experience in the Southampton U21 team.

"I'm really pleased," Luke said. "It's a massive club and it's a great opportunity for me to kick on and progress my career. I'm really excited to join the Club.

"It's a place that is definitely on the up, so for me personally, I feel like it's a good place for me to push on now. I've met the lads and they're a good bunch. I definitely feel like I'm going to fit in and that I can do well here."

Striker Luke Pearce aged 20 released by Southampton, made 22 appearances for Southampton U21’s in the last 2 seasons.
Was sent out on loan to Weston Supermare and Torquay.

Loads of criticism on here about the U21's last season-so don't blame them for trying to put it right. Being released by your first club and making the grade with some other club is the way its worked since god was a boy.

Very true if don't do something may as well rip up the under 23s team ...... as I've said bulut either hasn't a clue or he's seen what's needed think it's the latter.. shame others only see it one way.

Some of the negative comments are plain silly. Only a handful of young players make it all the way to the top and signing youngsters is always a gamble. Some work, many many don't. Even the ones which don't work out for us will hopefully will have a career in football elsewhere.

People are expecting us to br competing for youngsters with PSG ad Man city etc. I just don't understand why the first reaction to signing youngsters is to slag them off.

I have evidence that the JBs released one, and that Port Vale released one.

If you are happy having the cast offs of the JBs and Port Vale then that's your right, but I am not.

If we are releasing players like Crole then we HAVE to be bringing in people of higher quality. Which I don't think we have.
